I DREAM OF A WORLD……

Its dark and quiet ,
It’s the middle of night,
I switch off the light,
And sit alone
To look
At the stars shining bright…..

I dream of a world -
A different land;
Where man will be
A friend to man.
Unlike today-
Where he fights,
Where he kills,
Where he digs,
Where he drills,
Holes in his heart
To drown in his blood
Humanity and emotions.
Devoid of love,
He lives today.

I dream of a world
Where man will smile
When he sees others happy
And walk a mile
With those who are low.
He will hold the hand
Of the child of the street
And be kind to all’s needs.

I dream of a world
Where dreams will come true,
Where people will be receptive to,
Values old and new.
People will go ahead ,
Not pulling others back.
All religions will be one,
Humanity will stand high.
From the basic necessities
Man will not be shy.
And in peace his soul will lie.

I dream of a world
Where man can reach,
Provided he learns
The lessons lives teach,
A world where exists
Solemnity and peace.

I sit beneath the sky
And see
The warriors of night.
Its dark and quiet
And in the middle of night
I dream of a world……
